Grogan’s Mill was the first village created in The Woodlands in 1974 named after the Grogan Lumber Mill. It is composed of 21 neighborhoods with roughly 12,000 residents. Lot sizes can range from an acre, half an acre, and smaller. Many homes have been renovated to give potential homeowners a meticulously updated home, with a larger lot. There are many shopping and dining options since Grogan’s Mill is located close to Market Street, The Town Center, and has easy access to I-45. Elementary schools within the village include Hailey Elementary, Lamar Elementary, Wilkerson Intermediate, and Knox Junior High. The Woodlands Methodist School is a Kindergarten- 8th grade Christian private school located in this village. Located within Grogan’s Mill is the TPC Golf Course, The Woodlands Country Club, and The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. The resort is an ideal staycation destination with amazing pools, water slides, a lazy river, poolside dining and fine dining options. The walking and biking paths weave under the mature trees of Grogan’s Mill, providing ample shade. There are numerous parks, both small and large.  A larger park in Grogan’s Mill is Sawmill Park. It has a huge playscape for the kids, splash pad, sports field, tennis courts, and picnic area. Church Grogan’s Mill is a wonderful village to experience the natural beauty of The Woodlands.
