Welcome to Cochran’s Crossing

Cochran’s Crossing is in the heart of The Woodlands. It was named after the Cochran family who co- owned the Grogan Cochran Lumber Company, until they sold it in 1964. Today there are over 16,000 residents divided between 30 neighborhoods.  Country Club members can golf at the 27-hole Palmer Course, which offers a challenge to even the best golfers. After a round of golf, members can relax at The Woodlands Country Club and have a memorable meal at one of the restaurants. The Cochran’s Crossing Village Association plans fun events for the public such as a community swim party, fall festival, and Christmas lights contest.  Bear Branch Sports Fields has lots of grass and turf soccer fields for tournament play. Across the street is Bear Branch Park and Skate Park. There is one shopping center with a grocery store, restaurants, and a variety of other shops. Lots of smaller pocket parks and churches make this a great village to call home.

Public schools within the village include Galatas Elementary, Powell Elementary and The Woodlands High School.
