Welcome to Alden Bridge

The village of Alden Bridge opened in 1994 when Roger Galatas was the president of The Woodlands Operating Company. He named Alden Bridge after his hometown in Louisiana.  The village is bordered by F.M. 1488 and F.M. 2978 and is in the northwestern part of The Woodlands. There are close to 8,000 homes in Alden Bridge with a variety of price points. The homes are dispersed between roughly 80 neighborhoods, each having its own unique feel. Walking trails, community pools, ponds and parks are abundant! Alden Bridge Sports Park has baseball fields and soccer fields for both adult and youth games. There are two grocery store shopping centers within this village and an even larger shopping center minutes away. Alden Bridge has three public elementary schools located within the village; Bush Elementary, Buckelew Elementary, and David Elementary, which are all in walking or biking distance from their zoned neighborhoods. Mitchell Intermediate is also located within the village for 5th-6th grades.  Woodlands Christian Academy is a premier private school also located within Alden Bridge. Another private school option, that encompasses a part in person model with part homeschool, is Legacy Preparatory Academy. There are numerous churches of all sizes and denominations spaced throughout the village. Alden Bridge is a wonderful place to call home!

Public schools within the village include Bush Elementary, Galatas Elementary, Buckalew Elementary and Mitchell Middle School.
