Woodforest's Pine Market Lawn Has One Month of Fridays Left, and a New Steakhouse Next Door

  • October 22, 2026

From Friday, October 23, through the end of November, Pine Market has three free Friday concerts, six free Saturday fitness mornings and a cluster of Halloween and holiday events left before the season ends. The last Concert in the Park is Friday, November 20. A new steakhouse with a bar, darts and an outdoor patio opened on October 9, and it will still be serving after the lawn goes quiet.

Those two calendars overlap for about four weeks. Here is how the weeks line up.

A Season With a Fixed End Date

The Park at Pine Market is the event lawn inside Woodforest's 40-acre retail center at Woodforest Parkway North and Fish Creek Thoroughfare. Its fall programs run on fixed windows. Concert in the Park plays 7 to 9 p.m. on the first and third Friday of each month from August through November. Fitness in the Park runs September through November. The Woodforest Dance Company's Dancing in the Park, a monthly class Pine Market calls its newest event, holds its final session in mid-November.

So the Friday night concerts that started in August end just before Thanksgiving week. After that, the Pine Market events calendar lists two more Saturday fitness mornings, and then Deck the Pines on Friday, December 4, from 5 to 8 p.m.

This Friday's Concert Was Moved for Weather

The first-and-third-Friday rule has one exception this month. The CC Rider Band show was rescheduled to Friday, October 23, because of weather, which puts a concert on the fourth Friday of October. Pine Market's listing says it has been more than a year since the band last played The Park.

The rest of the series is back on the regular pattern:

  1. Friday, October 23, 7 to 9 p.m. CC Rider Band, the rescheduled show.
  2. Friday, November 6, 7 to 9 p.m. Sixtiesmania, a '60s party band billed as a family-friendly, all-ages show.
  3. Friday, November 20, 7 to 9 p.m. Ziggy Moonshine returns for the series finale with a set Pine Market calls "laid-back, country-filled."

A schedule that has already moved once for rain could move again. Check the calendar on the afternoon of any outdoor event.

Saturday Mornings Change Hosts on November 7

Fitness in the Park offers two free classes every Saturday, at 8:30 and 9:15 a.m. The schedule stays the same all season, but what you bring changes when the host does.

October 24 and 31 November 7, 14, 21 and 28
Host BODYBAR Pilates Montgomery County Jazzercise
8:30 a.m. class Led by BODYBAR Pilates Cardio
9:15 a.m. class Led by BODYBAR Pilates Sculpt & Stretch
What to bring Nothing; mats are provided Your own mat, a set of hand weights and water
Extras Raffle prizes at each class One-time waiver required

BODYBAR Pilates has a studio in Pine Market. Its October classes are the last ones where mats are provided. If you show up on November 7 without your own mat and weights, you'll be underequipped for Sculpt & Stretch. Pine Market bills November as the final month of the series, so the November 28 class is the last one.

Halloween Week Fills the Storefronts

Most events in the last week of October happen inside Pine Market businesses, not on the lawn.

  • Wednesday, October 28, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aggie Night at 16 Handles. Twenty percent of Aggie sales go to the Montgomery County Aggie Scholarship Fund.
  • Friday, October 30, starting at 7 p.m. The Glow in the Dark Halloween Pool Party at Blast Swim Academy. Registration is required.
  • Saturday, October 31, starting at noon. 16 Handles holds a Halloween Costume Contest, timed for frozen yogurt before trick-or-treating.
  • Saturday, October 31, 1 to 4 p.m. Trick or Tee at Tee Flat's Indoor Golf Studio, with free club demos, club fittings and a costume contest. It's free to attend.

Add the 8:30 a.m. Fitness in the Park class and Halloween Saturday has events at Pine Market from morning through the afternoon.

Two November Saturdays Put Everything in One Morning

November 7 and November 14 are the busiest mornings left. Both pair a lawn class with a big event in the Harvest Market parking lot. Harvest Market is Pine Market's grocery anchor at 2295 Woodforest Parkway North, a store Pine Market describes as more of a "grocerant" because it sells groceries alongside cooked meals.

Saturday, November 7. The Jazzercise classes start at 8:30 a.m., and the Texas Roots Holiday Market opens in the Harvest Market lot from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The market features local boutiques, handcrafted goods, gifts and treats, and admission is free. That's three weeks before Thanksgiving, which makes it Pine Market's first holiday shopping event of the year.

Saturday, November 14. The Forest Car Meet takes over the Harvest Market lot from 8 to 11 a.m. with more than 100 cars, from classics to showstoppers. It's free for spectators and participants, and Pine Market calls it the last car meet of 2026. Fitness in the Park starts at 8:30, and at 11 a.m. Park Pals brings Paw Patrol to The Park for the monthly second-Saturday social hour for young children. Pine Market notes the character lineup is subject to change, and December's is Frozen.

That Sunday, November 15, Dancing in the Park holds its last class at 4 p.m. It's free and open to all ages and experience levels. Five days later, Ziggy Moonshine closes the concert series.

The Steakhouse That Arrived Seven Months Late

New Bridge Fusion Steakhouse & Bar keeps Friday nights going after the concert series ends. Pine Market announced the restaurant on January 2, 2026, for a March debut at 759 Pine Market Avenue, Suite 100. It opened on October 9, after months of construction, according to Community Impact.

Community Impact reports that restaurateur Jason Yu and Chef David Moore run the restaurant. The menu covers steak cuts, seafood, burgers and salads, and there's a fully stocked bar, a social area with darts and an outdoor patio designed for live music.

New Bridge shares a building number with Blast Swim Academy, which Community Impact reported opened at 759 Pine Market Avenue, Suite 300. On October 30, the same building hosts a glow-in-the-dark pool party at one end and a newly opened bar at the other.

New Bridge also changes what a Friday night at Pine Market looks like. Before October 9, the sit-down dinner options at the center included Nona's Italian Grill, which Community Impact reported opened at 950 Pine Market Avenue on September 30, 2024. For the next month, a concert Friday can start with dinner at New Bridge before the 7 p.m. downbeat or end with a drink there after 9. Once the series ends on November 20, the restaurant gives Friday nights at Pine Market somewhere to go until Deck the Pines on December 4.

A new restaurant opening at the corner of Woodforest Parkway and Fish Creek Thoroughfare matters to Woodforest homeowners too, because the places nearby shape how a home is marketed when it's time to sell. If you'd like to know how Pine Market's latest additions might factor into your home's value, The Brownstone Group is glad to talk it through over coffee, or at a table on New Bridge's patio.
