When Eric Burdullis and Andi Teggart moved into their East Nashville home, not every aspect of their historic property was full of antiquated charm. The detached garage was, well, just antiquated.
Propped by two-by-fours, the crumbling structure topped the couple’s to-do list. “It was not a safe structure to park our car in, nor did we feel like it was safe to have it in the yard with [our] kids and dog,” says Burdullis. “We’ve always loved plants and had a vision to create a plant-filled extension of our home basically right after we moved in.”
